Raimund's Balduin OFA ("Wolf")

Wolf arrived at 6 months old and was our first Shepherd and our first protection trained dog. He was a Ch.Sregor's MC grandson out of Ralph & Mary Roberts breedings. His name means "Raymond's Courageous Friend", and that he was. He slept by our bed for the 14 years of his life. I knew I would never have another breed but Shepherds.

Freidl Of Georgian Oaks OFA

Freidl came to us from Boston to be bred to Wolf. She was a German/American bitch whose sire earned a SchH III, KKL-1a. They presented us with two great litters. Freidl and Wolf were a dynamic duo in protecting us and our property. We lost Freidl at 12 years old.

We purchased Mystere as a brood bitch from her breeders, Gail & Harvey Klien, Vizcaya Shepherds, in West Palm Beach, FL. However, after watching her move Gail encouraged me to show her. And I was hooked! This was the beginning of my love affair with the German Shepherd show ring. Unfortunately, Mystere contracted pyometra and had to be spayed before she was bred.

Lillie is the mother of Ch Harvey's Nevada and Am/Can Ch Pilgrim's Big Jake. She completed her Register of Merit points in 1994. She lived with my mother and passed away in her 13th year.

Jane produced 7 champions, 4 earning Select titles at our Nationals. She was a joy to live with and a superb mother. For us there will never be another like her. Jane was also the beginning of a 13 year friendship with the Bartley's.

Ch. Harvey's Nevada

After Ch. Nevada came to live with us, he was sent to Bart & Cindy Bartley for conditioning and training. He was shown at the 1990 GSDCA National in California and placed 2nd American Bred Dog at the age of 20 months. Bart completed Nevada's Championship the following year.

After earning a Select Title at our American National, Stormy completed his Canadian Championship in 4 shows at the age of 7 years and went on to earn a Canadian Select Title at the age of 8 years. He was a handsome, deep bodied male with a superb temperament.  Stormy was conditioned by the Bartley's and handled by Cindy Bartley.

After completing our handsome sable boy's Championship, we campaigned him in the all breed group ring where he was ranked No. 5 in the AKC conformation rankings and in a very short time.

Jake is a Quantrell son and was a large black and red male.  He was our first home grown Champion, owning both the sire and dam. He completed his Canadian Championship in 3 days with 3 Best of Breeds and 3 group placings, again handled by Bart.

We saw Krunch at the Canadian National where he won his 2nd Select title. We fell in love and brought him home. He was then shown in the American specialty ring and completed his American Championship in 7 shows. We have also shown him in the All breed group ring where he has won Best of Breeds and group placings. We sent him to Tiffany Bartley and Joann Corbin who conditioned him, and we entered him in the Canadian National where he earned his 3rd Select title, handled by Joann Corbin.

ChimChim was a very large dark male with a beautiful plush coat. He completed his Canadian Championship first. He won Best of Breed 3 out of 4 days and finished with a BEST IN SHOW.  What a day!!! Bart, Cindy and I drank a gallon of champagne. Bart then completed his American Championship the following year.

Toro was another of our Grand Victor Ch. Bull Durham sons.  He was a black and red stallion with a to- die- for temperament.  He was truly an Ambassador of the Breed.  I will miss him until the day I see him again at the Rainbow Bridge.
