| | Have you ever found someone's voice simply too annoying to handle? | | When I was back in high school, there were 2 girls in particular that I knew but didn't have much to do with. I'm sure they were both perfectly fine in their own ways, but I found their voices so grating that I knew I wouldn't be able to talk to them for long.Now I know a guy who has the same effect on me. He constantly sounds like he's whining, even when he's happy, and it just drives me insane. I don't like to spend much time around him or in his presence just because his voice just sort of makes me want to snap. | | A vegan's perspective on abortion. | | Sorry – this is a little long.)I am listening to a book on tape and I heard that one of the most pro-lifiest politicians makes the girl/woman go to counseling for three days before being allowed to have the procedure. And, I thought to myself, that is not a terrible idea, if, they mandate proper counseling on the way to becoming pregnant.What I mean is, I think it should be law to teach sexual education. I think there should not be an option to opt out, for two huge reasons: Mandatory teaching will slow the spread of infectious diseases, and there will be a huge decrease in the number of unwanted pregnancies.I think all tweens and anyone of puberty age should be taught. The youngest father I heard of is 10 years old. So maybe that age. I think they should teach same gender sex and opposite gender sex. I think they should teach about all forms of sex: oral, vaginal, and anal.[i]Why do I think that?[/i]

He said it's because cats likes high-pitched sounds. Come to think of it, I haven't come across any single male person who has a cat for a pet. Have you noticed this? What can you say about this? | |
| | Is She-Wolf the worst song of 2009? | | Music in my opinion has been deteriorating over the years. Popular artistes get away with anything they release with enough hype. A song seems to now hit the top of the charts before anyone even hears it, just by seeing the artiste who released it. Sure, shakira has had many hits before, does that mean every song she releases will be a hit? The answer is no. And a prime example of this is She-Wolf. The song did nothing but hurt my ears and it made me think "What has happened to her? What has happened to music?". The song makes no sense and the song has no tone or tune. The chorus is a high pitched mess that could crack glass.I'm not saying that all songs attain popularity in this manner, its just a few of them. Oh, and just to make it clear, I am a Shakira fan. Songs like "Underneath Your Clothes" are genius.I'd like for all those who reply to this post to post their comments on whether they like She-Wolf, or is it just that they like Shakira. | | The Kitty Caper | | So, I'm at work and cleaning the bird's cage. The bird, a cockatiel, is our mascot and I clean his cage twice a week. He whistles at me and I whistle back. While he were whistling, the bird made a really high pitched sound. I said, "Bird's name, you have a new sound and I can't replicate it." So, I'm watching the bird. I hear the sound again but the bird's beak or throat didn't move. It's not the bird making the sound.I start following the sound. Low and behold, it's a little kitten sitting on the settee in the 1st floor elevator foyer. The little guy is just screaming his lungs out. | | What would you do if you found a tiny kitten? | | I found a tiny little kitten a couple of weeks ago, it was 3am, I was trying to sleep, and all I could hear was this tiny high pitched mewling, right under my apartment window. I left it all night, but didnt sleep. First thing in the morning I went out and there was the tiniest little thing, no mum and looking terrified.Anyway, long story short, I took it to the vet and she said it was probably only 4 weeks old. Well little "chupito" is doing just fine now, is friends with all three dogs, who adore him (I think its a him) and he has fallen in love with my very feral cat Zippy, so Zips now has himself a chum.Wish I could include a pic, but my cameras not working.Well?
