myLot Discussions
For the ladies living alone, are you well protected?
First off, let me say, I am not starting this discussion to have a 'battle' over guns, gun laws, etc. I was just curious as to how many single women own there own protection? Do you keep a weapon at your home? I was born in raised in Texas and as such grew up around guns, hunting, etc. I do have my own 'protection', I feel sorry for the idiot that would try to break into my home, I will defend it. If you don't have a weapon, how do you protect yourself and your belongs should someone try to break into your home, while you are there?
would you allow your dog enter to your home?
do you allow your dog enter to your room or your house, my dog not allow to enter in my room and my house.. because of cleanliness reason?
My neighbor's Chihuahua is nosy! LOL!
My upstairs neihbor has a little Chihuahua named Charlie. She is the cutest little thing but boy is she nosy! Every time that we come and go little Charlie is there standing guard! Here is a picture of her on the landing above our condo. She is cute and she thinks she is guarding her place. Sometimes she will growl from up there at me and I just laugh and tell her she is a little cutie! I make little kissy noises to her and then she shuts up and then just watches everything that I am doing.[em]lol[/em]It is so funny the way that little dogs like Chihuahuas act so ferocious and then they are these little tiny things. It is like the "short man syndrome". Basically, they are tiny so they have an attitude![em]wink[/em]Anyways, I wanted to share this photo of Charlie and my story about her. She is awfully cute. I just love the way she peers down from all the way up there!Have a great day and happy myLotting!!![em]happy[/em]
Pet or guard????
Do you have a dog? What is your dog for..a pet to play with or a guard outside the house? My dog Panda is both. He could be a pet that we play with at home and he could be also a guard dog. Panda barks a lot when people pass by but he also is as meek as a lamb when he wants too.We love him so much because he is very helpful and at the same time he is very playful.
which is good dog or cat????
in many cases people keep pets as they want themselves to b secured and their houses to b secured and to dat they are fond of pets......welll dogs r kept for scurity purpose in most of the cases whereas cats are kept as its a very cute and soft animal...according to u which is better....cat or dog?????
Apparently, it's not only dogs that attack the postman - here's a cat story!
Postal workers are threatning to stop delivering the mail to a certain Sarah Gregg's house - at least as long as her cat is around!Gregg's cat Dipity strikes out at anyone who comes calling. Dipity has now taken a dislike to their postman, and leapt three feet and slashed him, drawing blood, as he slipped his hand through the family's letter box.You hear about guard dogs injuring postmen. You rarely hear about cats! What do you think about this story? Have you ever been in a similar position, with a pet who was aggressive towards the postman, or towards people in general? Have you ever been a postman, and you have stories or aggressive animals on your postal route? Feel free to share anything this story brings to mind!^_^More here:http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_2159847.html?menu=news.quirkies.animaltales
The pitbull controversy is only increasing the popularity of pitbull ownership
That's what it seems like to me. Pitbulls have become a very very popular breed of dog to own, and the more controversy comes about because of pitbulls attacking people, the more people tend to start buying pitbulls. I honestly don't have much of a problem with it. Pitbulls being ferocious and bloodthirsty depends on the trainer. Many of the people who buy pitbulls, buy them for this reason. Many other pitbull owners, though, do not train their dogs to be ferocious. I know nobody who has had anything but good experiences with pitbulls, and all of the pitbulls I've been around were very sweet and friendly. And if you wanted a guard-dog, wouldn't a dog that can be one of the meanest, toughest dogs around, be your first choice?
Do you have a photo of your pet you would like to show me?
Post a picture of your pet so i can check it out. I think there so cute. Do you. Maybe you would like to see someones pet. whats your pets name. I have two cats, one puppy, and two fish.
Best breed of dog?
I'm looking to get a new puppy soon and was looking for suggestions on what breed to get.
man's best friend
dog's are said to be man's best friend, and its true there are so many stories of my family that involves dogs. my husband use to tell about his dog tiger. he narrated that every time he is at home he usually had a great time playing with his dog. that dog is not just a playmate, he is like a security guard.the dog prevented all people who wants to get into the house when my husband is sleeping... tiger is reall a guard dog. my mom too is much attached to our dogs. she makes to it that the dog is well fed, then one day that dog was hit by a vehicle. the dog died instantly and my mom cry too much that he even wants to make a burial for it. and when somebody ask to pay for it for them to cook the dog and eat it. she really refuse it
